Judo thrived in 45 Commando Group circa late 1960’s under Peter Brown
(third left in the back row) and here are the team in the training dojo at Arbroath. The trophies were won in the RN Judo Championships. The dojo was in a tin hut and the mats were the old straw type (very hard!).
