THE GRASPAN PARADE- 11MAY 2008

The Graspan Parade: Sunday 11 May 2008.

Another Corps event that is growing each year in popularity is the Graspan Parade, held every year in London as a tribute to both former and serving Royal Marines. It involves turning out smartly (Corps tie, blazer, shiny shoes green beret, medals and hip –flask!). The march is with an RM Band, down the Mall to Buckingham Palace, and to our own memorial located near the Admiralty Arch. It may be the only time that you will be able to see all of the serving RSM’s in fine splendour marching together! (They are even nice to former PTI’s!). There is a lunch to follow, so if you would like to attend you can get the actual details from either your local RMA Branch, or from myself. We are hoping that more PTI's will attend and add their support to this major Corps event. If you need any guidance (or a ticket) just contact me.
